Rugby and East Warwickshire did peg one back from a short corner on the final whistle.  While early days it sees the team third in the league.

Ladies 2s v Worksop 2s (H) won 1-0

Goalscorer and player of the match was centre midfield, Geo Beckwith. It was a really competitive game and could have gone either way. North Notts took the lead midway through the second half by putting pressure on Worksop's defence and forcing a mistake on which North Notts capitalised.

The defence held firm, even under the pressure of a last-minute short corner. Former Ladies 1s GK Rachel Hunter-Worral for making a special guest appearance this week in the 2s net and made a number of important saves.

It was a difficult game against the students. Having lost 12-0 the week before the score showed some encouragement and with Kaz Andrews in the goal made some good saves. There were some good moments of play that suggest the results are going to get better.
