We'd say if you want to join a hockey club in the Mansfield area, why wouldn't you join us.

Since its formation in 1949 North Notts Hockey Club has gone from strength to strength.  We consider ourselves as extended family rather than a sports club with some members now having 3 generations of family at the club, we have had players from all over the world join us and the men's 1st XI still has two South African provincial players in the squad.

The Ladies section plays in the top tier of Midlands hockey and boasts 4 Saturday teams, from highly competitive 1st team through to social and beginners’ ladies hockey we have it all if you’re interested.

The Men's section field 5 Saturday sides and again have a highly competitive men's 1st XI which is the highest placed team in the local area through to a beginner 5th XI side.

Our junior section is our focus though, currently running junior coaching on Wednesday nights your children will be safe in our coach's hands.  All coaches are DBS checked and trained according to England Hockey standards which includes safeguarding awareness training.  With years of experience and endless amounts of enthusiasm your children will enjoy their introduction into hockey.  We are so confident you will love it we offer the first session free of charge.  To compliment the training, we also offer the opportunity for children to take part in games on Sundays at under 10, 12 and 14 levels.
