Club support local Macmillan charity

The club organised and ran an inter-club tournament on Saturday 15th December 2018, to raise money for the cancer charity, Macmillan. This came about due to the unfortunate passing of a very dedicated individual; Bill Workman, who committed himself to developing and supporting hockey across Nottinghamsahire and the East Midlands. His son and close family play for the club and they were very supportive of this event.
Overall, £300 was raised and the money will go towards the Nottinghamshire campaign helping people in the community living with cancer. It was a pleasure to meet Stacey from the charity, and we thank her for coming down. The club would also like to thank all of its members who helped raised the money and who gave up their time, before Christmas, to support this charity and the passing of a great man.
